Thanks for being curious about Polder Photography, the husband and wife team now located in Gahanna, Ohio.  We have been full time photographers for over 2 years at our previous studio in Jackson, Ohio.  We made the move to Gahanna in the summer of 2011 and are excited to offer our services to the area.  We have a 2 and half year old daughter and just welcomed our new baby girl in early October 2011.

Beni (who also goes by Keisha, her first name) grew up in Wellston Ohio and was always active and interested in photography.  She moved to California when she was 19.  During her 9 year stay in California she continued pursuing her passion of photography through schooling at Cypress College and Fullerton College.  She continued her photography for families, weddings, friends and eventually up-and coming musicians and a well known producer / movie consultant Mark Joseph from the MJM Entertainment Group.

Adam grew up skating the streets of Los Angeles and began his photography at the age of 12  and shortly after became dually interested in videography at the age of 13.  His love for both photography and videography has led him into opportunities such as weddings, seniors, special events and old school skating videos.  You can check out his skate video on youtube just search for Adam Polder.

Adam and Beni met for the first time in September of 2003 and the connection between the two was instant.  With both of their fun loving personalities and shared interest’s their friendship flourished and led them to their engagement on May 19 2006, and later married on October 22, 2006.  Once they married they became a team of photographers that continued to photograph families, weddings, and special events.  The birth of their first child prompted their move to Ohio to be closer to their family.

The Polder’s purchased Shawn Richendollar’s photography and opened for business in June of 2009.  Shawn has had his photography business “Shawn Richendollar Photoghraphy” for 15 years which was well known throughout South Eastern Ohio.    Shawn now manages his store known as “Four Mile Bakery and Fireplaces”.
